Széchenyi Palace, Balatonfüred

Located in the Balatonarács suburb of the city, summer palace was built by Ferenc Széchényi in 1792. His sons, including István Széchenyi, were regular guests of the palace.

The building's original Baroque outlook was reconstructed in Eclectic style in 1871. The building served as an inspiration for Mihály Tímár's palace in The Man with the Golden Touch by Mór Jókai.

Today, the palace houses a horticultural school.
